Embryonic Cyclocephaly – demo #1

Well, well, well..what do we have here! Just as my relatively successful day slowly comes to its end I’m getting a notification about the release of the “Demo #1” from another gorenoise project from prolific Spanish gorenoise connosieur Pol G., released by Pissfaced Fetus Production for your aural (dis)pleasure.

It contains only one composition (which, I guess, it’s a more suitable term than “song”) of 4:56, entitled, well, “Untitled Garbage”.

I, personally, don’t think it’s a garbage (you might disagree with me, that’s fine), and it’s actually more approachable than many other gorenoise releases you might have encounter. The reason is simple – the ocassional use of programmed/sampled drums makes the release easier to “digest”. Consider it a light snack before the full 4-course lunch.

I’m slowly getting used to “hydro” samples in such recordings (and I can hear it’s quite prevalent with a few artists I had the opportunity to hear), but I am glad I can recognize also the guttural growls (or whatever you want to call it), and as I’ve said earlier, it’s really a nice stuff I’d recommend to the beginners in the genre, but still – be warned, if you idea of “extreme” is Bon Jovi, then you might be in for a real wake up call.

It’s also released in a physical form, but with the super limited edition of 10 mini-CDr copies, I don’t think it will last longer than a few days to sold out, so hurry, or cry later.

Otherwise, you can hear it here: https://pissfacedfetusproduction.bandcamp.com/album/demo-1-4
