At Rubber Axe webzine, it’s always about you, whether you are a reader/fan or an artist, publisher, label…. This webzine is dedicated to exploring the diverse and dynamic world of music, spotlighting emerging artists and celebrate and give the appreciation for those paving the way before them. Whether you’re a seasoned music enthusiast or just beginning to explore the vast landscape of sounds, you’ll find something captivating here.

Our mission is simple: to celebrate the universal language of culture, its creation, its mutation – no matter the medium, no matter how obscure, fringe, cringe or esoteric it may be. Rubber Axe is the home for the high art as well as the disgusting dreck. You decide for yourself.

• Reviews: Whether the new album or the obscure release from the years ago, the Rubber Axe covers it all. As much as the time allows, the unstoppable team of one offers thoughtful reviews of albums, movies, books and periodicals, helping you navigate the ever-evolving cultural vastness.

Although ocassionally there was help now and there (mainly from the indispensable J. R. Preston of Tjolgtjar/Xexyz), Rubber Axe webzine is for the most part an individual effort of one individual, Rudolf Schütz.
